Plant has 2" long purple, bronze leaves with a good aroma and flavor with purple flowers.  Leaves are used in sauces, meat and fish.  It grows 18-24" tall in full sun in well drained soil.  Basil doesn't require a lot of water.  Pinch flowers for fuller plants.  Annual.
