Plant has leaves that look similar to parsley.  The leaves have a mild, sweet anise flavor that are used in soups, salads or as a garnish.  It prefers to grow in cooler temperatures.  I recommend growing in shade in the south to help prevent seeding in hot weather.  It grows 10-16" tall. Annual.
