Plant has a soft feathery, fine textured bronze, purple foliage with a sweet, mild anise flavor.  Leaves can be used in salads or Mediterranean cooking.  The bulb can be grilled, sauteed , stewed, or eaten raw.  It grows 24-36" tall in full sun to part shade in moist, well drained soil.  Annual
