Plant has 1" long green leaves with light pink flowers.  It has a mild fragrance and is commonly used as a hedge plant in the herb garden.  It can be used in floral arrangements or easily pruned and shaped like bonsai trees.  A tea can be made to treat gout, coughs, or to ease gastric distress.  It grows 14-18" tall in full sun to part shade in well drained soil.  Perennial.  Zone 5-9.
