Plant has large, flat, reddish-brown foliage with light-lavender, blue flowers in summer. It has a mild, sweet aroma with a hint of ginger. Use in meats, fish, pork, vegetables, bread and other cooking recipes. It is named for Gorizia Italy where it originated. It is mildew resistant. It grows 36-46" tall by 24-36" wide in full sun in well drained soil. Perennial zone 8-10.
