Plant has gray-green, needle-like leaves that has a good orange aroma and flavor with light pinkish-purple flowers in summer.  Leaves are used fresh or dried in soups, sauces, meats, fish, poultry or other cooking recipes.  It grows 6-8" tall by 10-12" wide in full sun to part shade in well drained soil.  Avoid overwatering.  Perennial zone 5-9.
